LOST PERSON

  • If/when you receive a report of a lost child or any lost person, call on the two-way radio to alert all employees so we can all search for the lost person.  Sometimes minutes count

SMILE & GREET

  • This is very important. Always greet the customer with a smile and a friendly “Hello”, ‘How are you doing today”, or other such friendly greetings
  • BE POLITE. This is very important. Remember the line from the movie ‘Bambi’?
    “If you can’t say something nice, …don’t say nothing at all”? The same hold true here. Remember the golden rule. Treat others as you would want to be treated
  • Remember you are representing Shenandoah Valley Campground
  • When riding through Campground on golf cart or any other vehicle DRIVE SLOWLY
  • When riding through the campground on a golf cart SMILE and GREET campers along the way. A smile and a friendly “How are y’all doing today” can mean a lot to everyone
  • Employees are not allowed to have visitor while on duty
  • Employees are not allowed personal use of computers
    NO FACEBOOK, NO INSTAGRAM, NO TWITTER, NO INSTANT MESSAGING OF ANY FORM
  • Employees are not allowed to accept personal phone calls while on duty, except for emergencies
    This includes your personal cell phone as well the business phone. Personal calls during breaks
    are allowed. NO TEXTING WHILE ON DUTY
  • Employees using restroom and noticing any untidiness should tidy up or inform Housekeeping, Duke ASAP
  • Employees are expected to pick up any trash they see, inside or outside
  • Any other task requested by any of the managers
