  • Shenandoah Valley Campground has been in operation since 1973 and was incorporated in 2004.
  • The Campground has mostly pull-thru sites. All sites on the river are back-ins.
  • The Campground offers sites with water, electric, sewer, and cable TV. Fifty amp sites are also offered.
  • This Campground has a general store, snack bar (The Café), Swimming pool, kiddie pool, mini-golf course, horseshoe pits, cornhole boards, stocked fishing lake, river fishing, four indoor hot tubs, two playgrounds and a laundromat.
  • The Campground was built in a horseshoe bend of the Middle River so, therefore, the river is on three (3) sides of the campground.
  • The river is not stocked with fish. The fish in the river are native. Fish found in the river are: small mouth bass, sunfish, rock bass (redeye).
  • The lake is catch and release except for the rainbow trout which the camper may keep three (3) per day. It is stocked with rainbow trout, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, tiger bass, channel catfish, and crappie.
  • The waterfall is from a spring-fed stream named Falling Spring Run. The name of the river is Middle River. The waterfall is on private property not belonging to the campground.
  • Public restrooms are located in the main building and at the hot tub building. Both areas have handicap-accessible toilets and sinks. The hot tub building also has a handicap shower.
