RESPONSIBILITIES
- It is your responsibility to be knowledgeable of SVC’s policies. If a question arises that you cannot answer ask a manager
- You are expected to show respect to all management
- We thank you for any suggestions you may have. Bring your ideas to Brandy. If your idea is accepted it will be implemented. No changes will be made without her approval
- It is your responsibility to not gossip
- Any employee issues need to be brought to Brandy’s attention
- If a situation comes up where you cannot work the hours scheduled, bring it to Brandy’s attention. Employees may not switch schedules with another employee
- You are expected to arrive on time and ready to work
- From time to time we all have problems at home. We expect you to leave yours there
- Be Polite
- You are expected to be available weekends and holidays
- You may ask for occasional day(s) off. While we will try to grant your request, this cannot become a habit. A previous request from your fellow worker for the same day(s) off will take precedence
NOTE
- Employee’s family and/or friends may not ‘hang out’ at the campground while Employee is working.
- If Employee’s manager asks Employee to work overtime, Employee is not entitled to contact another Employee to work their overtime for them.
- Employees may not make their own schedule.
- Employees may only work overtime when asked by any Manager
RENTAL CAMPERS
- Always wear gloves
- Clean corners, etc. for cobwebs
- Flip mattresses and replace covers as necessary
- Empty trash cans and replace can liners
- Test smoke detector with broom handle.
- Clean mirror
- Check refrigerator, microwave, range, oven, and sink. Clean any as necessary
- Dump crumbs from toaster and unplug
- Check / clean coffee maker and unplug
- Clean counters and table
- Check that dishes, flatware, pots & pans are clean & dry
- Check that cabinets and drawers are clean
- Check ceiling vents and close if necessary
- Dust everywhere
- Shake rugs outside, then replace
- Vacuum carpets
- Sweep and mop vinyl floors
Turn off lights, air conditioner, and/or heat - Flush out black water holding tank through toilet – replace gloves if cleaning anything else
- Pick up any loose trash around the site
- If camper smells of smoke or other objectionable odor, open windows and spray with odo-ban
and report to Office Manager - Lock door and return key to office
- Any damage or anything unusual or out of the ordinary must be reported to Duke immediately
RESTROOMS:
- Always wear gloves
- Cleaning supplies can be found in chase to each bathhouse
- Sweep floors
- Mop if necessary
- Clean counter
- Clean sinks.
- Clean mirrors
- Clean toilets
- Clean showers
- Empty sanitary bins in ladies rooms and showers
- Check soap dispensers, refill if needed
- Wipe baby diaper changing table
- Replace toilet tissue – even if only one roll is missing, replace it
- Replace paper towels
- Check soap dispensers, refill if needed
- Remove trash can liner if full or close to full
- Remove all cobwebs
- Any damage or anything unusual or out of the ordinary must be reported to Duke immediately
CAMPING CABINS:
- Always wear gloves
- Sweep floors. This includes behind the door and under the beds
- Flip mattresses
- Empty trash cans and replace can liners
- Clean mirror
- Test smoke detector with broom handle
- Clean rafters, corners, etc. for cobwebs
- Turn off lights, air conditioner, and/or heat
- Unplug heater and put it in the corner next to the desk
- Lock door and return key to office
- Sweep deck. Remove dust, pine needles, leaves, etc
- Clean around the outdoor lamp
- Pick up any loose trash around the site
- Wipe grill
- If cabin smells of smoke or other objectionable odor, open windows and spray with odo-ban
and report to Office Manger - Any damage or anything unusual or out of the ordinary must be reported to Duke immediately
FISH CLEANING STATION
- Always wear gloves
- Cleaning supplies can be found in chase to each bathhouse
- Clean sink
- Clean walls surrounding sink
- Clean floor
